Catarina Mota is a certified yoga teacher and Ayurvedic massage therapist with over two decades of experience in holistic practices. Her journey began in 2001 when she completed her training in Ayurvedic Massage in Lisbon, Portugal.

She has since expanded her knowledge through diverse trainings across the globe, including sound massage therapy with Tibetan singing bowls (Peter Hess method), Kundalini massage in India, and a 200-hour Tantra Yoga teacher training (Tri-Dosha method), also in India. She further trained in Vinyasa Flow with Nina Vukas in Croatia and became a certified Aerial Yoga teacher under the method created by Rui Oliveira Costa.

Catarina teaches primarily Aerial Yoga and Vinyasa Flow, blending strength with softness. Her classes combine dynamic movement with restorative practices, always adapting to the energy and needs of her students. She is currently based at Ericeira Yoga Studio, where she teaches regular classes and workshops.

Since 2020, Catarina has also been leading a Teacher Training in Aerial Vinyasa Yoga with Elements and Restorative Aerial Yoga, sharing her deep knowledge and experience with aspiring yoga teachers.

In addition to her yoga practice, Catarina is trained in Water Movement Therapy, which deepens her somatic approach to body awareness, healing, and flow.

Her teaching is grounded in the connection between body, breath, and inner awareness — guiding students on a journey of balance, self-discovery, and transformation through movement and presence.
