Lesson 1. Legs Strengthening and Shoulder Work

We lay the groundwork for a strong and stable practice by focusing on two key areas: the legs and shoulders. Through a dynamic sequence, we target the thighs, hamstrings, and calves, building strength and endurance in these foundational muscles. We incorporate shoulder-centric asanas to enhance stability and mobility in the upper body. By strengthening these essential areas, you'll establish a solid foundation for your yoga practice, allowing you to progress confidently and safely.

Lesson 2. Arms, Back, and Core

In Lesson 2, we turn our attention to the upper body and core, igniting strength and vitality in these key areas. Through a series of arm-strengthening poses, backbends, and core-engaging exercises, we aim to enhance overall upper body strength, improve posture, and cultivate a strong core foundation. By building strength and stability in these crucial regions, you'll not only enhance your yoga practice but also promote better alignment, balance, and resilience in your daily life.

Lesson 3. Hips Opening

Hey there! I'm Sofya Skidan, an artist and seasoned yoga teacher with over a decade of practice and seven years of teaching experience.

My journey as a teacher has been deeply enriched by my studies with esteemed mentors, including TTC 300 Swasti Yoga with Surinder Singh in Rishikesh, India, and TTC 300 at Yoga Center Prana. In my teaching, I blend the principles of biomechanics of movement with the dynamic energy of power yoga and the fluidity of vinyasa-flow. Through this fusion of styles, I aim to create a space where students can explore, expand, and evolve both on and off the mat. I've led Yoga-Hiking Retreats worldwide, blending biomechanics, power yoga, and vinyasa-flow for a unique experience. Let's explore the transformative power of yoga together!
